Meet the Staff
Howard R. Daines, DDS
I am grateful for the opportunity of serving the dental needs of the Brigham City area for almost 20 years. I was born in Okinawa Japan in a military hospital and grew up in Southern Idaho and Cache Valley.
I have been especially grateful to get to know the great people in our community. I love being able to provide comprehensive care for the entire family. We are a prevention focused practice that also loves to provide a full range of dental care. From simple fillings to wisdom teeth and implant services.

Daniel K. Nelson, DDS
My wife Heidi and I are originally from Cache Valley, so being so close to our parents and siblings is a great blessing. I love the opportunity to serve the Brigham City community as a dentist! This is such a beautiful area and a great place to call home!
Dentistry to me is way more than just the procedures. It’s all about human interaction and positive relationships. My goal is to treat my patients like my own parents, siblings and children. I understand that going to the dentist is often uncomfortable, so we focus on making the visit pleasant. I respect the opinions of all my patients and encourage them to make decisions with me on how to best meet their dental wants and needs.
Some of my hobbies include playing the piano, family history, and playing with my kids. We enjoy going to Yellowstone and other National Parks almost every year.
Education
- Undergraduate degree from Utah State University (2000)
- Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University (2004)
- Dental Laser Certified – World Clinical Laser Institute
- Extensive continuing education in implant placement and restoration
